Hi everyone! I’m back alive and well on the East Coast, still in some serious recovery mode. I have a feeling I’ll be a bit sluggish for a few days as I get my body back to normal. A huge lack of sleep + lot’s of cocktails + three hour time difference = my brain feeling like mush. Anyway, I’ll do my best to try to make sense as I recap part of the weekend for you! I have so many pictures that I think I’ll have to break it up into a few recaps!
Thursday night, 8 of my absolute best friends flew from all over the world to come celebrate the bachelorette! One of our good friends even flew over from Ireland in order to surprise the Bride-to-Be!
We stayed at the Planet Hollywood right on “The Strip.” For anyone going out there for a bachelorette party, I highly recommend it! The rooms were…. interesting… and very “Vegas-like.” Check out the hot tub within feet of the bed!
Being that there were 8 of us, we decided to get two of the suites that included a living area and full kitchen. We knew we wouldn’t be spending a ton of time in there, but we wanted plenty of space!
Before we even unpacked a thing (well except for the bachelorette favors of course), we got room service compliments of the groom! He had sent a few bottles of champagne to greet us in the room!

…. which we promptly popped open to toast the Bride-to-be!
After quickly getting ourselves put together and enjoying some champagne, we rallied up and headed out to Tryst. Although it was already around midnight (which for us East Coasters, was really around 3 a.m.) and we had a long flight, the second we walked into the fun atmosphere we were instantly wide awake and ready to party!
Tryst was great. In normal, everyday life, we don’t spend much time at “clubs” and prefer to spend nights out at low-key bars, but being that we were in Vegas, we wanted to go all out! We spent hours dancing and toasting to the bride. They played great music that helped us quickly forget that we were running on no sleep! It was so much fun being around all my best friends, laughing and celebrating something so special!
Hello to the random pair of shoes in the picture below… someone clearly had some hurtin’ feet!
Around 4:30 we started to hit a wall (our bodies did think that it was 7:30 a.m. after all), and decided to head back to the hotel for some shut-eye. The pictures in the cab ride are some of my absolute favorite, but I don’t feel fully comfortable posting online. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, right?!
On Friday morning, we all slept in until about noon. We clearly needed it after our long night! After forcing our eyes open (and chugging Gatorade for some replenishment), we threw on clothes and headed out to grab food and walk around. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t that great, so although we had plans to hit up a pool party, we decided to skip it. What to do instead of lay in the sun with cocktails in our hands? Grab cocktails at a swanky bar, of course!
We headed to Chandelier Bar, which was gorgeous!
After enjoying some mimosas, we walked around for a bit before heading back to the hotel to shower up and get ready for night #2!
I hope you all had a great weekend, and I’ll fill you in on the rest of our amazing vacation tomorrow. As for now, I’m going to head to a park with Bobby and a good book…. I’m in desperate need of some downtime! :)
How was your weekend?? What did you do?? I can’t wait to read up on posts I’ve missed!
Are you more of a “club” person, or do you prefer low-key bars?

That looks AMAZING! Especially Chandelier Bar- I would have dropped my teeth
WOWZA!
I’m so glad to hear that you had such a good time!
The Chandelier Bar was great…. and the mimosas certainly helped us shake the hangovers we were experiencing!
I love Vegas. It’s probably one of my favorite places to go. For me, it’s only a 2 hour plane ride and for the most part way better weather than Portland. I’ve never gone to a club there (unless the Toby Keith Bar at Harrahs counts as a club hahaha) but I just love wandering around the strip and checking out everything. Glad you had a good time. Drink some coconut water too. I swear it helps you recover faster.
You’re so lucky that it’s just a two hour plane ride…. I’d love to be able to go more!! Hahah it’s hilarious you suggested coconut water because my husband picked me up from the airport last night with a huge bottle of cold coconut water just waiting for me to chug!
That’s a great husband
What a fun time!! I seriously can’t wait to hear more. Usually I’m a low key person…I like sports bars (doesn’t hurt that I’m usually the only girl in the joint hahaha), but this weekend I went out and danced my butt off!
I’m a big fan of sports bars too…. Especially on Sundays when football is on! Every Once in awhile it’s fun to switch it up though…. Glad you had a good weekend too!
Looks like such a great time! I agree, that chandelier room looks gorgeous! Glad to see you were having fun
I have never been to Vegas before, but would love to go someday!
You should!! I’m definetly happy we experienced the Vegas scene… Never been anywhere like it, that’s for sure!
A Vegas wknd- how fun!!! I’m more of a Low-key bar person, but every once in a while it’s fun to go to a club (esp if it’s in Vegas!)
I’m the same way…. Usually I’m not into clubs, but we had to experience the Vegas club scene while we had the chance!
